Purpose of this blog

Hello Everyone,
I have such a response to my post on my other blog. I have heard from so many women who have had similar experiences-to a greater or lesser extent. With every women I come in contact with I am amazed at how many of us are out there.
Starting this blog was suggested to me and after thinking about it, I think it is needed. A single place where we can all share our stories. Share our problems. Let each other know what is working for us, and then one day help the medical community find the answer to why and hopefully help.
As I receive stories, updates, and info that I find or are given I will post them here. If you have anything to share you can email me at judeebeeforme@yahoo.com
Please become a follow if you have had, are having, or know someone who has had this problem.

  1. I am so happy to of found your blog! I have a 17 month old little boy and when he was about eight months old, I woke up in the middle of the night with hives all over my body! My lips swelled way up and we went to the ER. They told me I was allergic to something I ate. I made a appt with the allergy doc, nothing could be foung, Internal Doc, OB, Family Phys. I am so fraustrated with all this. They put me on the meds looks like everyone is on. Zyrtec, Hydroxzizine, xyzal,Claritin, and now a steroid. I dont know what else to do now. I feel as though I am getting the run around and no doc can give me any answers! Its been 9 months and still getting break outs everyday! I'm glad you feel my pain i thought i was all alone out here!

  3. I just wanted to say THANK-YOU! I have been seeing doctors and dermatologists in New Zealand for the last several months trying to get to the bottom of my hives. I've had blood tests, skin tests, throat swabs, basically been poked and prodded to no avail. Whenever I mention the possibility of the hives being something to do with hormonal changes due to breastfeeding, doctors almost immediately disregarded it, as in their words "it's very rare - so unlikely to be this". I nearly cried when I saw your photo of your hives Arizona Girl. You can basically superimpose mine on top of yours. They're exactly the same and drive me insane. As I'm still breastfeeding doctors will only give me some low level antihistamines, which don't really do much. It is great to find a place where other mothers who are going through this can come together and share their knowledge. Thanks again!
